six°north x Track Brewing

We brewed a collab with Track Brewing at the end of October. Our two mates from Manchester (Matt & Stefan) were up doing some Tap Takeover events at our bars in Edinburgh and Aberdeen so we figured it made sense to brew a beer together whilst they were up!

Track have become known for brewing brilliant hop-forward NE styles, and we're known for our Belgian influence. So for this collab brew we decided to brew a New European IPA. Essentially a re-imagined New England IPA brewed with European hops (Huell Melon, Mandarina Bavaria, German Cascade) and a mixed malt bill of pils malt, spelt, malted barely & oats to create the desired mouthfeel.

A great day was had by all and we concluded with one or two well earned drinks at the Track TTO at six°north Aberdeen.

Velodrome is out now and it is tasting superb! It has a full mouthfeel, low bitterness, with a big juicy hit on the finish. Check out Track if you get the chance, a great wee brewery producing some outstanding beers!
