BREWGOODER RESIDENCY TAP

EAST vs WEST

2 CITIES. 2 BREWERIES. 2 BEERS. 2 COMMUNITIES IN MALAWI, AFRICA. 1,000 PEOPLE WITH CLEAN DRINKING WATER.

This month we are delighted to be supporting a special Brewgooder campaign on the residency tap in six°north bars.

Brewgooder have teamed up with Scottish brewers Cross Borders & Drygate to produce two great beers, an East coast pale and a West coast pale. Proceeds from both beers, and donations made via QR codes on beer mats found in participating venues, will go to the Brewgooder Foundation to support their Well Rehabilitation Programme and the reactive repair of dysfunctional and broken water sources for communities across rural Malawi.

The East vs West campaign intends to fund the repair of two broken water pumps, to provide consistent clean drinking water access to approximately 1,000 people.

ABOUT THE BEERS…

CROSS BORDERS BREWING: EAST COAST PALE ALE [4.5%]

This New England style pale ale dry hopped with El Dorado, Mosaic and Amarillo. Fermented with Vermont yeast. Brewed with a mixture of Scottish real ale malt and flaked oats.

DRYGATE: WEST COAST PALE ALE [4.5%]

Pouring a bright amber, and bursting with punchy, vibrant aromas; an American pale ale with a classic west coast profile. Fresh, grassy and zesty up front, followed with deeper aromas of dank pine forest. Flavours of apricot, grapefruit and melon are balanced with an assertive bitterness, and toasty, caramel malt.
